The date for the release of Windows Mobile 6.5 was approaching closer and closer, the cell phone manufacturers are preparing their existing devices for update. Samsung B7330 Omnia Pro that will come pre-installed with Windows Mobile 6.5.
The screen of the new Omnia is going to be slightly larger than the existing devices. Square in shape, the screen will offer a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. In order to provide fats connectivity, HSUPA 2Mbps has been included in the set of features. Another update in the new Omnia will be the availability of HSDPA at 7.2 Mbps, whereas it was limited to 3.2 Mbps in the current version.
A number of other devices from the Omnia family will undergo the upgrade with Windows Mobile 6.5. B7610 Omnia Pro is one of them, though it belongs to the category of premium devices, unlike Samsung Omnia B7320 and B7330 that will accommodate the mid-range functionality.
Another Omnia member is ready for the launch in the form of
Samsung B7300 Onmia LITE that will feature 667MHz CPU, HSDPA along with Wi-Fi, A-GPS and video recording at VGA@30 fps. Of course, it will be installed with Windows Mobile 6.5. Don’t think of waiting too long for these devices, as they are going to hit the store sin October.
